Quick answer
FizzClean is not a scam. You pay, it ships with tracking, and the powder foams and cleans the way a fizzing toilet cleaner should. The risk is in the sales process: hype-heavy ads, pre-highlighted big bundles, optional add-ons at checkout and a refund policy that only covers unused packs for change of mind.
Order it the right way and those problems mostly disappear. The checklist is below.
What we checked
- The official FizzClean site and its returns, shipping, contact and terms pages
- The live US checkout: bundles, prices and optional extras
- The advertorial pages that send ad traffic to the store
- Published complaints and third-party write-ups about the brand
- What a fizzing oxygen-based toilet powder can and cannot do chemically
The common FizzClean complaints, one by one
1. "The ad said it was sold out in stores"
The advertorial page we were sent to says FizzClean is "currently sold out in retail stores nationwide". FizzClean is sold online through its own store, and the brand lists no retail partners. Treat that line as marketing, not news.
2. "I paid for extras I didn't want"
The checkout includes optional shipping protection, an extended protection warranty, priority processing and an upsell pop-up offering a second order for $10. These are the most common source of "I was charged more than I expected" complaints. Check every tick box and read the order summary line by line before you pay.
3. "They wouldn't refund me"
This is the big one. The 30-day policy is real, but it has rules:
- Contact support within 30 days of delivery and get a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) first
- Change-of-mind returns must be unused and in the original packaging
- You pay return shipping, and original shipping is not refunded
- Send it only to the address support gives you, with tracking
So if you open every pack and then ask for your money back, expect a no. Open one pack, test it, keep the rest sealed. That one habit avoids most refund disputes.
4. "Shipping took forever"
The brand's own estimates are 2 to 12 business days in the US, 7 to 12 in the UK and Europe, 8 to 12 in Canada and 8 to 14 in Australia and New Zealand. Orders can ship from fulfilment centres in another country, and import charges are your responsibility outside the US. If you need it this week, this is not the product.
5. "It didn't remove my rust stains"
Fair complaint, wrong expectation. Old rust and thick limescale need an acid-based cleaner and usually a brush. FizzClean is a maintenance cleaner. Our hard water stain guide shows what to use for heavy buildup.
6. "The reviews look fake"
The store shows a 4.7 rating and says it is "showing our 4 and 5 star reviews". In other words, it is a filtered list on the seller's own site. Many "FizzClean review" pages in search are thin press releases and auto-generated pages too. Judge it on what it can do, not on star counts.

FizzClean complaints FAQ
Is FizzClean a legit company?
FizzClean is a brand name sold through an online store with a US phone line (+1 314 350 6429) and email support (support@fizzclean.com or support@get-fizzclean.com). Orders ship with tracking. The terms say the brand is operated by the company selling the product, and the company name is not prominently displayed, which is common for direct-to-consumer brands but less transparent than a high-street name.
Why do some people say FizzClean is a scam?
The usual reasons are aggressive advertorials ("sold out in stores"), countdown-style discounts, checkout add-ons people did not notice, long delivery times outside the US and refund requests being refused because packs were opened. None of that means the product is fake, but it does mean you should read the checkout carefully.
Will FizzClean charge me every month?
Subscriptions were switched off on the checkout we checked on 6 November 2026, so a normal order is a one-time charge. Always check your order summary for any "subscribe and save" option before paying.
Can I return opened FizzClean?
Not for change of mind. The returns policy says change-of-mind returns must be unused and in original packaging. Damaged, defective or wrong items can be refunded or replaced. You must contact support and get an RMA first.
How do I contact FizzClean support?
Email support@fizzclean.com or support@get-fizzclean.com, or call +1 (314) 350-6429. Include your full name, order number and a short description. The policy says requests are typically reviewed within 3 business days.
Is FizzClean on Amazon?
The brand does not list Amazon as a seller. Purple "toilet cleaning foam" pouches on marketplaces may be other brands or copies, and the official 30-day refund policy will not apply to them.
Verdict
Legit product, pushy funnel. If you want an easy weekly toilet cleaner and you follow the checklist above, you are unlikely to have a problem. If you want instant rust removal or need it delivered tomorrow, buy something else.
